Social housing group puts £2-4m in legal work up for grabs

A group of registered housing providers has launched the procurement of a legal services framework agreement worth £2-4m over its lifetime.

Network Housing Group – whose subsidiaries are Community Trust Housing, London Strategic Housing, Network Stadium Housing Association, Riversmead Housing Association, Willow Housing and Care and Network New Build Ltd (NNBL) – collectively owns and manages more than 17,500 homes across London and the South East.

The group, which works with 33 local authorities, said: “Network Housing Group wish to establish a framework of solicitors in connection with the contract provision and negotiation of the requirements which include mainly the provision of new homes including affordable rented accommodation, low cost home ownerships, private sale, mixed tenure schemes and some major refurbishment and regeneration.”

The group added that it envisaged there would be a maximum number of ten participants to the agreement, which will be made available to other social housing providers in the UK. The agreement is expected to last four years.
