Law firm secures £16m contract for estates advice to Ministry of Justice

Law firm Michelmores has secured a contract worth up to £16m to provide the Ministry of Justice with estates-related legal services.

The contract was awarded on the basis of the most economically advantageous tender in terms of:

  1. Understanding the Requirements (weighting 15);
  2. Relevant Experience (weighting 35);
  3. Personnel (weighting 15);
  4. Service Delivery (weighting 35);
  5. Price (value for money assessment).

The MoJ said it received eight offers to handle the work, which relates to the custodial and non-custodial estate of the MoJ for England and Wales.
