Trowers to launch public sector commercial team in Birmingham

Trowers & Hamlins will next month launch a public sector commercial team in Birmingham.

The team will be led by partner Amardeep Gill with support from solicitor Louis Sebastian. The duo are currently based in Trowers’ London office.

Gill has advised a range of local authorities, including Wolverhampton City Council on the final Building Schools for the Future PFI project, Belfast City Council and London Borough of Croydon on new service delivery models, and the London Borough of Southwark on a complex PFI variation.

He is currently working on an Oxfordshire County Council commissioning council project.

James Hawkins, Head of Public Sector Commercial at Trowers & Hamlins, commented: "With his depth of local government knowledge and experience of the West Midlands market, Amardeep is naturally well-placed to lead our new Birmingham team.”
