TLT hires Isaacson in boost for social housing team

TLT has appointed David Isaacson from Bevan Brittan as a corporate partner in its social housing team.

The move follows the hires of Linda Convery and Gillian Bastow from Lewis Silkin in July, and Kane Kirkbride from Bevan Brittan in 2014.

Isaacson has advised clients on issues such as local authority housing vehicles, housing stock transfer, joint ventures and group structures as well as strategic commercial projects including outsourcing agreements.

TLT’s clients in the housing sector include Swan Housing Group, The Guinness Partnership and Peabody.

Last month it was one of 11 firms to be named by the Notting Hill Housing Trust to panels worth an estimated £3m.

In June the firm was appointed to Southern Housing Group’s revised legal panel.

TLT's social housing head Paul Butterworth said: “We work with a large number of registered providers and local authorities and David’s specialist industry knowledge will strengthen and complement our national client offering.

“This is an exciting time for David to join TLT. The Social Housing team has had a strong year to date and we’ve grown our national client base with a number of legal panel appointments.”
