Social housing group appoints six firms to £600k legal services contract

A Wiltshire and Somerset-based housing group has appointed six law firms to a legal services framework worth nearly £585,000 over four years.

Selwood Housing Group divided the contract into the following lots:

1. Construction and procurement (estimated value: £405,000).
2. Housing management (£100,000).
3. Funding (£40,000).
4. Governance (£40,000).

The successful firms were:

• Anthony Collins Solicitors (Lots 1, 2, 3, 4).
• Bevan Brittan (1, 2, 3).
• Capsticks (2).
• Devonshires (1, 4).
• Trowers & Hamlins (1, 2, 3).
• TLT (4).

Selwood Housing Group, which has more than 6,000 homes, appointed three law firms in 2012 (Trowers & Hamlins, Winckworth Sherwood and Coffin Mew).
