Veale Wasbrough Vizards hires Hansom as new public sector head

Veale Wasbrough Vizards has hired a procurement specialist from Eversheds as head of its public sector practice.

During his five years at Eversheds, David Hansom advised on procurements such as the competitive dialogues for the redevelopment of New Covent Garden Market as well as regenerations and PFI projects. He will be based principally at the VWV’s London office.

In the last 12 months, VWV has been appointed to a number of framework agreements, including those run by a consortium of local authorities in Oxfordshire and the Association of Council Secretaries and Solicitors’ Southern Branch.

VWV Managing Partner Simon Heald said: “I am delighted that David has agreed to head up the public sector group here at Veale Wasbrough Vizards. With so much uncertainty in the marketplace in so many different sectors, having David on board means we can be certain that we can continue to deliver the wealth and breadth of experience and expertise at the highest level that our clients need and demand.”
