Bevan Brittan hires Bowles to head information law team
Bevan Brittan has hired Vicki Bowles as partner to lead the firm's Information Law and Privacy team.
Bowles, who has expertise in privacy and information law, including data protection and freedom of information, has joined the firm after five years at VWV, where she was Data Protection Partner.
Bowles started her career in law with positions at the Charity Commission and HM Revenue & Customs.
She has since worked with a wide variety of clients, from start-ups to tech companies, charities, schools and commercial businesses. She specialises in complex and strategic issues as well as day-to-day compliance matters.
She also spent more than a decade at Stone King, where she joined as a barrister and rose to the position of 'Head of Knowledge Management'.
Commenting on her appointment, Bowles said: "This is an exciting opportunity in a rapidly-developing and expanding area of law. I am delighted to join a team which has already got significant experience in this area and I look forward to helping to grow and develop our offering further in the coming months and years.
