Wolverhampton City Council to appoint advisers to £8m legal services framework

Wolverhampton City Council has kicked off the procurement of a four-year legal services framework worth an estimated £4-8m.

The framework will begin on 1 September and have four lots:

1. Regeneration and property;

2. Competition, procurement and contracts;

3. Public and administrative;

4. Real property portfolio of the West Midlands Metropolitan Pension Fund.

A maximum of four organisations will be appointed to each lot.

The local authority noted in particular that it was progressing a number of major investment and regeneration projects and transformation programmes including: Wolverhampton Interchange; Heath Town
; Tap Works
; Westside; Southside; Canalside ; Civic Halls ; and Future Spaces office rationalisation
.

Wolverhampton said the framework would be available for use by its delivery organisations such as trading companies, joint ventures, arms length organisations and the like.

It will also be available for use by other public bodies in Wolverhampton and partner authorities in the West Midlands Combined Authority.


The end date for expressions of interest is 15:00 on 24 August 2015.
