North East transport body seeks legal advisors for new Metro concession

Nexus, the Tyne and Wear Passenger Transport Executive, is looking to appoint “suitably qualified and experienced” legal advisers to support the letting of the New Metro Concession.

The organisation, which administers funds on behalf of the North East Combined Authority, said the appointment would “cover support in relation to all aspects of the letting, including (but not limited to) advice on the operational requirements of the New Concession and the procurement of rolling stock during its lifetime”.

The time limit for receipt of tenders or requests to participate is 12:00 on 17 May 2016.
