Kingdom Housing Association names six firms to £440k legal services panel

A Scottish housing association has named six law firms to a framework agreement worth £440,000 over four years.

Kingdom Housing Association, which is based in Glenrothes, divided the agreement into the following lots:

1. General Legal, Contractual and Procurement Issues;

2. Conveyancing and Related Issues;

3. Governance Issues;

4. Employment Law Issues;

5. Finance Management Issues;

6. Housing and Estate Management Issues.

The successful firms were:

• Harper Macleod (Lots 1, 2, 3, 5, 6)
• BTO Solicitors (Lots 1, 2, 3, 5, 6)
• HBJ Gateley (Lots 1, 2, 3, 4)
• TC Young (Lot 2)
• Thorntons Law (Lot 5)
• Shepherd and Wedderburn (Lot 6)

The framework agreement is for a three-year period with the option of a one-year extension at Kingdom Housing’s discretion.
