City college and academies trust launch tender for employment law advice

Leeds City College and the White Rose Academies Trust have launched a tender exercise for the provision of employment-related legal services.

The college said it wanted to invite “suitably qualified and experienced law firms to tender for the provision of employment-related Legal Services for the College Group and its members and for its sponsored Academies Trust….for a period of three years."

The contract start date is 1 August 2016 and the end date is 31 July 2019.

Formed in April 2009 by the merger of three of Leeds’ further education institutions, Leeds City College is now one of the UK’s largest FE establishments. It has 40,000 students and more than 1,300 staff.

The college sponsors the White Rose Academies Trust, which has three academies in the centre, east and west of the city.
