NW housing association names five law firms to £330k panel
A Manchester-headquartered housing association has named five law firms to a £330,000 framework agreement for legal services.
Mosscare Housing set up the following lots:
- Property and development;
- Housing management;
- Employment law;
- Corporate finance;
- Governance;
- Commercial and procurement.
The successful firms were:
- Croftons (Lots 1, 6);
- Forbes Solicitors (1, 2, 6);
- Hyland Legal (1, 6);
- Ward Hadaway (1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6);
- Whiteheads Solicitors (2).
The award criteria for the lots were price (weighting: 35%); and quality (weighting 65%).
The framework agreement is to run for three years with a client option to extend for a further year.
It will be available to other members of the group: Mossbank Homes; Mosscare Developments; and Mosscare Shared Services.
The group owns and manages nearly 5,000 homes in Manchester, Stockport, Tameside and Trafford.
