Lewisham Homes to set up £1.575m legal services framework

Lewisham Homes has kicked off the procurement of a legal services framework worth £1.575m over five years.

The organisation, which manages 18,000 homes on behalf of Lewisham Council, said it was “seeking to establish arrangements with legal service providers that will support its business and deliver highly customer focussed, effective and efficient services”.

The framework will be divided into three lots:

  1. Housing management (£725,000);
  2. Disrepair litigation (£350,000); and
  3. Income – rent arrears and court representation (£500,000).

Lewisham Homes said it expected an increase in savings over the term of the contract.

The contract term is three years with the option to extend by a further two years.
