University in North West to re-procure £1.2m legal services panel

Manchester Metropolitan University (MMU) is to re-procure its panel for external legal services, which is worth an estimated £600,000 to £1.2m over four years.

The university last went out to tender in 2009, when it appointed four firms of solicitors to support it in meeting its objectives.

MMU said it would now re-tender for this agreement, “being sure to capture any new or amended requirements that have developed”.

The framework will support its in-house legal team in all aspects of its work “in providing a high quality, commercial legal service”.

The procurement of the framework is to follow a two-stage restricted tender process. The contract will run from 20 March 2017 until 19 March 2020.
