Coventry University to procure legal panels worth £2m to £8m
Coventry University is to procure a legal services framework worth between £2m and £8m and to be made available to West Midlands universities.
The agreement is to cover:
- Corporate/Commercial;
- Regularity/Compliance;
- Employment Law;
- Property and Construction Law;
- Funding (UK and EU);
- Tax;
- Litigation and Dispute Resolution;
- Global Compliance Services.
The agreement is expected to be put in place for four years from the award of the contract.
Coventry's proposed framework is the latest in a series of procurement exercises of legal services by universities.
Five university purchasing consortia last month issued a prior information notice on proposals for a £70m national framework.
Also in August, the University of Bradford launched a procurement exercise, while Manchester Metropolitan University announced plans to re-procure its £1.2m framework.
In July Aston University said it planned to appoint three firms to a £600,000 panel.
