Buying group to set up professional advisers framework agreement

A purchasing organisation for charities, churches and other bodies has revealed plans to set up a framework agreement for professional advisers.

In a prior information notice 2Buy2 said it plans to divide its Professional Services Framework Agreement 2017 into the following lots:

  1. Human Resource Management Services: including providing dedicated teams of solicitors and advisers with a focus on the core issues of employment, education and health and safety; allowing the option of a combined annual package delivering this service; providing access to further areas of expertise whenever this is required at any time including litigation (schools specific and other litigation), property issues, trust and charity issues.
  2. Legal Advisory Services: a range of legal advisory services on all areas of law including those commonly required by educational establishments including but not limited to: education law; company and charity law; commercial advice; academisation; Data Protection Act and Freedom of Information requests; litigation; construction and capital projects; property; licensing; special projects; and including tribunal claims, disciplinary and grievance procedures, drafting pay policies.
  3. Payroll Management Services.
  4. Accounting and Auditing Services.

2Buy2, which is based in Bridgend in Wales, said the framework agreement would be open for use by the following users throughout UK: local authority councils; educational establishments (including academies); Central Government departments and agencies and local government departments and agencies; registered charities; and registered social landlords.

The framework is expected to be in place for 36 months, subject to a possible extension of a further 12 months if agreeable by all parties. The scheduled date for start of award procedures 1 September 2017.
