Fire authority names three council teams and one law firm to framework

Bedfordshire Fire and Rescue Authority has appointed four suppliers, including three local authority legal teams, to a four-year legal services framework.

The successful providers were:

LGSS Law (the social enterprise owned by Cambridgeshire, Northamptonshire and Central Bedfordshire councils).
Luton Borough Council Legal Services.
Essex Legal Services.
Freeths.

The BFRA said the suppliers should “provide pragmatic business focused legal advice presenting the organisation with options around risk whilst offering practical solutions and suggested ways forward whilst delivering value for money”.

The contract is worth an estimated £48,000-55,000 over the total life of the framework. It runs from 23 January 2017 to 22 January 2021.
