Scottish Water Business Stream hires two firms for £2-3m legal debt recovery services

Scottish Water Business Stream has awarded a £2-3m contract for legal debt recovery services in England and Scotland to two law firms, Brodies and DWF.

The firms will be required to provide:

Litigation services for live and closed accounts
Litigation services in Scotland and England
Enforcement activity

The company has also awarded a £1.5-2m contract for debt collection services to Arvato Financial Solutions UK and Ireland, Orbit Collections Group Limited and Past Due Credit Solutions.

The contracts, which are for three years, were awarded on the basis of the most economically advantageous tender in terms of service delivery (weighting 40), account management (weighting 30) and price (weighting 30).
