Land Registry to appoint single provider for £632k external legal services contract

The Land Registry is to procure a single provider to deliver corporate legal services under a contract worth an estimated £632,000.

The successful firm will provide support in the following areas:

  • Property law
  • Employment law
  • Commercial law
  • Ad hoc legal advice

The Land Registry’s intention is to appoint a new supplier before its current contract ends on 30 June 2017.

The contract is expected to last four years.

The Land Registry said that “having assessed the various methods available to source external legal services, [we] have selected a restricted OJEU process as it presents most value for money and is time efficient”.
