SW housing association names nine law firms to £3.5m legal services panel
A South West housing association has named nine law firms to a panel for legal services worth an estimated £3.5m.
Knightstone Housing Group, which is based in Weston-super-Mare, divided the contracts into eight lots:
- Land & property transactions
- Housing and property management
- Leasehold and homeownership management
- Tenancy Enforcement
- Procurement and contractual arrangements
- Private finance agreements
- Corporate transactions, including mergers and acquisitions
- Governance, regulation and advice on governing documents
The successful firms were:
- Anthony Collins Solicitors (Lots 3, 6, 7, 8)
- Ashfords (1, 2)
- Bevan Brittan (1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 7, 8)
- Capsticks (2, 4, 5)
- Clarke Willmott (6)
- Devonshires (1, 6, 7, 8)
- TLT (1, 3, 6, 7, 8)
- Trowers & Hamlins (5)
- Whiteheads (4)
The contracts are for 48 months, but may be extended by up to a further two years by mutual agreement.
Knightstone provides services to more than 23,000 people in 11,000 homes and builds around 300 homes a year.
