The Crown Commercial Service has named nine law firms to a £90m panel for finance and complex legal services.

The successful firms were:

  1. Ashurst
  2. Berwin Leighton Paisner
  3. Clifford Chance
  4. Dentons
  5. Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer
  6. Hogan Lovells
  7. Linklaters
  8. Simmons & Simmons

The panel agreement is for an initial period of two years, with the option to extend for up to two further periods of twelve consecutive months.

The award criteria were quality (weighting: 70) and price (weighting: 30).

In March this year the CCS named named 18 law firms to a £320m, two-tier panel for the supply of general legal advice to crown bodies and other permitted users.
