Largest social landlord in Hampshire to set up legal services framework

The largest provider of affordable homes in Hampshire, VIVID Housing, has given notice of its plans for a new legal services framework agreement that will consist of a small number of suppliers.

VIVID Housing said the suppliers would “be expected to work collaboratively and innovatively to provide legal service provision…..Our requirements will cover a range of disciplines relevant to the Housing and Public Sector, these will be set out in the final contract notice.”

It added: “VIVID are intending to use this opportunity to explore innovative approaches to the delivery of legal services to ensure that we achieving value for money for our customers.”

The framework will be awarded for a maximum of four years and be divided into four lots:

  1. Land and development
  2. Property sales
  3. Housing and leasehold
  4. Corporate – Finance, Procurement, Charity Law, Governance and Employment Law

VIVID Housing has around 70 000 customers and 30 000 homes in the South East, mainly across Hampshire and Surrey.

The contract notice is expected to be published on 7 January 2019.
