Landmark barristers appear for promoters of West Hendon regeneration

Neil King QC and Zack Simons of Landmark Barristers are acting for the London Borough of Barnet, the Metropolitan Housing Trust and Barratt London as promoters of a major regeneration scheme in West Hendon.

An inquiry opened this week into two compulsory purchase orders made by the council to facilitate the ongoing regeneration of the West Hendon estate.

The regeneration scheme will provide for 2,000 new dwellings, a school, a community facility, a range of commercial uses, open space provision and major infrastructure improvements.

The Secretary of State for Communities and Local Government confirmed the first CPO required for the West Hendon regeneration scheme on 13 November 2015 after a 2-week inquiry in January 2015.
