Edwards named Director of Law and Governance at West Midlands Combined Authority

Helen Edwards has joined the West Midlands Combined Authority as its Director of Law and Governance.

She will also act as the combined authority’s Monitoring Officer.

Edwards, the current President of Lawyers in Local Government, was previously Director of Governance and Monitoring Officer at Norfolk County Council. Prior to that, she was Head of Democratic & Legal Services at Kettering Borough Council.
