Bevan Brittan appoints record number of new partners
National law firm Bevan Brittan has promoted six new partners – its highest number in a single year – as part of its 2025 promotion round.
The six became partners from the beginning of the month and are joined by a new Legal Director, ten new Senior Associates and 16 new Associates.
The new partners are:
- Elizabeth Dunford (Technology and Data Protection; Birmingham)
- Elena Goodfellow (Clinical Negligence and Medical Malpractice; Birmingham)
- Samantha Minchin (Healthcare; Birmingham)
- Rachel Newman (Employment and Immigration; Bristol)
- Ellie Staniforth (Social Housing Litigation and Landlord & Tenant Disputes; Leeds)
- Tania Kahlon (Clinical Negligence and Medical Malpractice; London)
Bevan Brittan said women now make up 51% of the partnership “ensuring balanced representation and recognising the value equality and diversity bring to the business”.
Property specialist Atalay Sevket is meanwhile promoted to the role of Legal Director.
Bevan Brittan’s Managing Partner, Duncan Weir, said: “Last year, we had a record round of promotions overall and this year, we have a record number of new Partners. This demonstrates our continued success and the emphasis we place on investing in talent at all levels.”
