42 Bedford Row bolsters public law children and housing teams

42 Bedford Row has bolstered its public law children and housing teams with the arrival of two barristers.

Family law specialist Sarah Vakil was called in 2006 and handles a full range of public law and private law children matters.

42 Bedford Row said Vakil is frequently instructed in the full range of Children Act cases, including s31, s8 and SGO matters. She is further instructed in respect of abduction matters, cohabitee disputes and financial remedy work.

Natalie Foster is a civil barrister called in 2011 and has a strong practice in housing and personal injury law, the set said.

She regularly advises and represents landlords and tenants in a broad range of actions including possession, rent arrears, trespass, and disrepair claims.

“She has frequently provided crucial advice on the validity of section 21 notices, including issues surrounding tenancy deposit protection and gas safety certificate requirements,” 42 Bedford Row said.
