Southern Housing Group has appointed 12 firms to a legal services framework agreement worth an estimated £6m over a four-year period.

The Group, one of the largest housing associations in the South of England, received 35 offers across eight lots. The successful firms were:

  • Ashfords
  • Bevan Brittan
  • Coffin Mew
  • Cripps Harries Hall
  • Devonshires
  • Housing Law Services
  • Lewis Silkin
  • PDT Solicitors
  • Pennningtons
  • Squire Sanders & Dempsey
  • Trowers & Hamlins
  • Winckworth Sherwood

The award was based on the most economically advantageous tender in terms of price (weighting: 50), quality – tender (weighting: 25) and quality – interview (weighting 25).

The eight lots covered: housing management; sales and leasehold; development; commercial property; employment; care homes; governance; and treasury and funding.
