University selects six law firms for £1m legal services framework

The University of Wolverhampton has appointed six law firms to a legal services panel worth an estimated £1m.
The framework, which is intended will support the university’s internal legal team, has been divided into the following lots:
- Commercial and contracts.
- Information governance.
- Property and construction.
- Employment and pensions.
- Education.
- Company, governance and charity.
The successful firms were:
- Bevan Brittan (lots 3, 4, 5)
- Eversheds (1, 3, 4, 5, 6)
- Pinsent Masons (2)
- Shakespeare Martineau (1, 3, 4, 5, 6)
- Shoosmiths (2)
- VWV (1, 2, 6)
The contract was awarded on the basis of quality (weighting: 60) and price (weighting: 40).
