University names 11 providers to £63m legal services framework

The University of Essex has selected 11 law firms for a seven-lot legal services framework worth an estimated £63m.
The framework is divided into the following lots:
- One Stop Shop
- Human Resources, Pensions and People
- Academy Conversion and Post Conversion Services
- Property
- Commercial – Contracts, Procurement Governance and related matters
- Dispute Resolution and Litigation
- Education (including Universities and Higher Education)
The successful firms were:

- Davitt Jones Bould (4)
- Eversheds Sutherland (1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6)
- JG Poole & Co (1, 4, 5)
- Forbes Solicitors (1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7)
- Freeths (1, 2, 4, 5, 6, 7)
- HCR Legal (7)
- JG Poole & Co (1, 5, 6, 7)
- Shakespeare Martineau (7)
- Stone King (3, 7)
- Weightmans (1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7)
The framework will be open for use by all contracting authorities across the public sector throughout the UK.
