Housing association names eight law firms to legal services panel

Wulvern Housing, a Crewe-based housing association, has named eight law firms to a legal services framework agreement.
The successful firms for Lot 1 (governance, regulatory, treasury, employment and commercial) were:
- Anthony Collins;
- Forbes;
- Hyland Legal;
- Trowers & Hamlins.
The successful firms for Lot 2 (housing management and asset management) were:
- Capsticks;
- Simply Social Housing;
- Whiteheads;
- Croftons.
The successful firms for Lot 3 (property, development, construction and home ownership) were:
- Croftons;
- Forbes.
The contract was awarded on the basis of the most economically advantageous tender in terms of quality/technical (weighting 70) and cost (weighting 30).
The estimated final value of the contract was £150,000.
Wulvern Housing manages more than 5,300 homes across Cheshire and Staffordshire. It plans to build 1,000 homes over the next four years.
