North East housing association names three firms to provide property and development legal advice

A social landlord in the North East with 34,000 properties under management has appointed three law firms to provide property and development legal services.
The firms appointed by Thirteen Housing Group were:
- Anthony Collins
- DWF Law
- Ward Hadaway
The contract was awarded on the basis of quality (weighting: 70) and price (weighting: 30).
In a notice Thirteen Housing Group said it would not make a contract award for the other lots it had originally proposed as being part of the framework: Employment Law (lot 2); Corporate Finance (lot 3) and Commercial and Governance (lot 4).
The framework was originally estimated to be worth £600,000. The property and development legal advice is estimated to be worth £125,000.
