The UK’s largest housing association, Clarion Housing Group, has appointed 17 law firms to a panel of providers of legal services worth an estimated £40m.
Clarion was seeking to appoint firms to provide services in the following specialisms:
- Treasury and finance
- Securitisation and charging
- Employment
- Housing management, litigation and operations
- Property – Commercial assets
- Property – Residential and Conveyancing
- Development – Land and Partnerships
- Development – Design and Technical
- Development – Project Management & commercial and Delivery
- Development – Development Management
- General
Twenty-nine tenders were received.

The contract was awarded on the basis of quality (weighting: 80) and price (weighting: 20).
