Has the Planning Court proved a success? What should be its future, and that of judicial review and statutory challenges in the planning system, in the light of the Faulks review? John Litton QC, Duncan Field, Tim Buley QC, Simon Ricketts and Jenny Wigley discuss.

At a time when the Government has appointed a panel led by Lord Faulks to carry out an independent review of administrative law, with potentially far-reaching questions as to reforms to, and restrictions to the availability of, judicial review, what better time to look back at the work of the Planning Court since its creation in 2014?
