London council to set up £1.4m panel for litigated insurance claims

The London Borough of Lambeth is to procure a panel of law firms to provide legal advice and defend litigated insurance claims.
The framework agreement is worth an estimated £1.4m over a three-year period.
The council said it expected a maximum of four participants to the framework agreement.
Lambeth is procuring the panel for its own work, not for other contracting authorities.
