Insurance London Consortium to set up £5m legal panel

The Insurance London Consortium (ILC), which has nine local authority members, is to procure a legal services panel to handle work estimated to be worth £5m over five years.
The ILC comprises:
- Camden Council
- Croydon Council
- Haringey Council
- Harrow Council
- Islington Council
- The Royal Borough of Kingston-upon-Thames
- Lambeth Council
- Sutton Council
- Tower Hamlets
The five highest scoring tenderers following the tender evaluation will be awarded the contract and appointed panel members.
The contract will be for a period of 5 years. It will be awarded on the basis of quality (weighting: 70), value for money (weighting: 10) and price (weighting: 20).
The procurement is being led by the London Borough of Croydon.
