11KBW strengthens core practice areas with arrival of three barristers
Three barristers have joined 11KBW this month, as part of the set’s strategy of developing expertise in its practice areas.
They are:
- Jamie Susskind (2013 Call), a specialist in High Court commercial-employment cases and tribunal litigation. 11KBW said Susskind also has a general commercial/arbitration practice, and a developing practice in information law. "Jamie has a particular interest in data governance, privacy law, and free speech and has written widely on these subjects."
- John Bethell (2014 Call), who has particular expertise in public law and human rights. “He also has substantial experience in commercial disputes and investment treaty arbitration, and a growing information law practice. He is regularly instructed in sensitive and high-profile litigation, particularly in matters that raise national security or diplomatic and state immunity issues.” Bethell is a member of the Attorney General’s London C panel and the specialist Public International Law C panel.
- Ruth Kennedy (2015 Call), a specialist in commercial, employment and public law. “Her cases frequently have an international focus in both private and public disputes,” 11KBW said. Kennedy is a member of the Attorney General’s London C panel and the specialist Public International Law C panel. She is currently instructed as junior counsel to the Independent Inquiry into Child Sexual Abuse.
Bethell and Susskind joined chambers on 14 June. Kennedy joins the set on 21 June.
