Council names 10 chambers to £4m barristers services framework

The framework has been divided into the following lots:

1. Barristers’ Services for Adults, Children and Education (ACE).
2. Barristers’ Services for Governance, Planning, Property and Litigation (GPPL).

The successful chambers were:

• 39 Essex Chambers (Lots 1, 2)
• 4 Brick Court (1)
• 42 Bedford Row (1, 2)
• 5 Pump Court (1)
• Cornerstone Barristers (1, 2)
• Field Court (1, 2)
• Francis Taylor Building (2)
• Landmark Chambers (1, 2)
• New Court Chambers (1)
• Regency Barristers Chambers (1)

The council said: “This framework will provide a route to market for the purchase of barristers’ services, where there is demand for capacity or specialist expertise that cannot be met within the council’s in-house Legal Services Unit.”
