Fundraising platform acquires CrowdJustice, vows to create “even bigger impact”

Fundraising platform Crowdfunder has acquired CrowdJustice, the online fundraising platform for legal cases.

Crowdfunder said the strategic move “strengthens our commitment to empowering individuals and communities in overcoming legal challenges through crowdfunding”.

Phil Geraghty, Director of Crowdfunder, said: “We're thrilled to welcome CrowdJustice to the Crowdfunder family.

"This partnership aligns perfectly with our mission to make ideas happen and tackle society's challenges. Together, we'll have an even bigger impact, supporting projects that need to raise legal fees from the crowd to achieve their goals."

Julia Salasky, who founded CrowdJustice in 2014, said: "Partnering with Crowdfunder will enable CrowdJustice to become an even more powerful force in democratising access to the law.”

Crowdfunder said that by joining forces, CrowdJustice can accelerate its mission to provide justice and support for legal matters.

“This acquisition seamlessly combines Crowdfunder's crowdfunding expertise with CrowdJustice's legal fundraising capabilities, creating a powerful platform for positive change,” it said.

“This marks a significant milestone in the crowdfunding industry, as two pioneering platforms unite to empower individuals, challenge inequality, and make a lasting impact on society.”
