NW councils to appoint two barristers chambers to £2.7m childcare advocacy deal
Four North West councils are to appoint two sets of barristers’ chambers to a £2.7m contract for the provision of advocacy services to their childcare departments.
The four local authorities are:
- Liverpool City Council;
- Knowsley Metropolitan Borough Council;
- St Helens Borough Council; and
- Wirral Borough Council.
The contract is expected to start on 1 February 2018 and run until 31 January 2021. There will be no option to extend.
The award criteria are quality (weighting: 20) and price (weighting: 80).
The procurement is being led by Liverpool.
