Utility appoints law firm to £450k litigation services deal

Severn Trent Water has appointed Weightmans to a contract to provide legal services worth an estimated £450,000.
The utility company said the firm would “manage full litigation services and ad hoc pre-litigation services which include providing advice and assistance in complex cases”.
The contract was awarded on the basis of service team (weighting: 12%), service delivery (weighting: 15%), relationships (weighting: 8%), systems and mobilisation (weighting: 15%) and price (weighting: 50%).
