De Montfort University fires gun on procurement of new £1.2m legal services panel

De Montfort University is to put in place a new legal services panel to come into effect after its current arrangements expire at the end of July.

The panel provides additional or specialist external legal advice as required. It has been divided into the following lots.

A1. General Corporate and Commercial — High Value.

A2. General Corporate and Commercial — Low Value.

B1. Corporate Governance — High Value.

B2. Corporate Governance — Low Value.

C1. Human Resources — High Value.

C2. Human Resources — Low Value.

D1. Estates — High Value.

D2. Estates — Low Value.

E1. Charity — High Value.

E2. Charity — Low Value.

F1. Student Related Matters — High Value.

F2. Student Related Matters — Low Value.

G1. Patents/Trademarks/Copyrights — High Value.

G2. Patents/Trademarks/Copyrights — Low Value.

The university estimates the new arrangements to be worth £1.2m over four years.
