Lancaster University has unveiled plans to appoint a provider of contracts and estates-related legal services to support its facilities team.

The university said: “This shall include, but is not limited to, putting in place contracts (mainly JCT) for construction projects and related ad-hoc legal advice.

“The university also requires assistance in creating and executing leases for its commercial tenants.”

The arrangement is worth an estimated £50,000 to £100,000 per annum.

It is expected to last for an initial two years from 18 December 2019, with scope for annual extensions up to a maximum of five years.
