National Grid appoints ten law firms to legal services framework agreement
National Grid has appointed ten law firms to a framework agreement for the provision of legal services.
The framework agreement is for an initial three-year term, with the option to extend by up to two years in one-year increments.
It covers a wide range of legal services including energy and regulation, property and planning, commercial, disputes including debt and damage, and employment.
Twenty-one tenders were received. The successful firms were:

The quality criterion comprised: objectives (20%); delivery approach (25%); team (5%); thought leadership (5%); value add (5%); mobilisation and transition (5%); conflicts (5%) - weighting: 70.
The cost criterion comprised rate card and menu pricing (20%); rebates (5%); value adds (5%) - weighting: 30.
