Midlands university to set up £4m legal services framework

Birmingham City University is to establish a multi-provider framework agreement for the provision of legal services worth an estimated £4m.

The university’s requirements have been split into eight lots:

  1. Property and Estates/Construction;
  2. Employment Law and Human Resources;
  3. Education, Charity Law, Governance and Student Matters;
  4. Commercial Services, Procurement and Data Law;
  5. Intellectual Property (General incl Trademarks), Research and State Aid;
  6. Intellectual Property (Patents);
  7. Litigation, Dispute Resolution and Regulatory Matters;
  8. One-stop Shop.

The framework is expected to be in place for 36 months.
