Fife Council has published a contract notice for the procurement of a legal services framework for general legal services and court of session work worth almost £1m.

The notice was published this week (16 March) and estimates the framework’s worth to be £920,000.

The framework will be split into the following two lots:

  1. Court of Session Work (Legal representation services, Legal service and Legal advisory and representation services).
  2. General Legal Services (Legal services, Legal Advisory services and Legaladvisory and representation services).

The council estimates Lot 1's value to be £640,000 and Lot 2 at £286,000, excluding VAT.

The award criteria for both lots rate the 'quality' of the offer at 50% and the price at 50%.

A maximum of two participants will be assigned to the framework, according to the notice.

The framework period is for a three years period with the option to extend a further 12 months, dependent on the performance of the contractor and the council's requirements.

All potential participants will need to apply by 12:00 pm, 19 April 2021.
