Scottish council to procure legal services framework worth almost £1m
Fife Council has published a contract notice for the procurement of a legal services framework for general legal services and court of session work worth almost £1m.
The notice was published this week (16 March) and estimates the framework’s worth to be £920,000.
The framework will be split into the following two lots:
- Court of Session Work (Legal representation services, Legal service and Legal advisory and representation services).
- General Legal Services (Legal services, Legal Advisory services and Legaladvisory and representation services).
The council estimates Lot 1's value to be £640,000 and Lot 2 at £286,000, excluding VAT.
The award criteria for both lots rate the 'quality' of the offer at 50% and the price at 50%.
A maximum of two participants will be assigned to the framework, according to the notice.
The framework period is for a three years period with the option to extend a further 12 months, dependent on the performance of the contractor and the council's requirements.
All potential participants will need to apply by 12:00 pm, 19 April 2021.
