Ten firms selected for £5.8m housing association legal services contract
Two major providers of affordable housing in the North East and Yorkshire have appointed ten law firms to a legal services framework worth an estimated £5.8m.
Karbon Homes and Gentoo have a combined housing portfolio of around 60,000 properties.
The contract is divided into eight lots:
• General Property (value: £920,000).
• Development (£1.18m).
• Planning and Construction (£480,000).
• Property Securitisation (£1.4m).
• Housing and other landlord and tenant matters (£580,000).
• Governance and Compliance (£360,000).
• Corporate, Commercial and Finance (£480,000).
• Employment and Pensions (£400,000).
