Birmingham housing organisation seeks bids for £1m legal services contract

A Birmingham-based organisation that provides housing has announced a search for suppliers for a legal services contract worth up to £1m over four years.
The Pioneer Housing and Community Group is made up of a number of organisations providing services from placing people in affordable housing to providing general support for young people, families and vulnerable people in Birmingham.
The contract is divided into two lots.
Lot 1 will cover governance, corporate, human resources, finance & securitisation and development.
Lot 2 will cover property management, asset management, housing management, home ownership, and commercial properties.
It is envisaged that the contract with the successful bidder in each lot shall last for an initial period of three years, with an option to extend for a further period of up to one year, according to the contract notice.
The closing date for bids is 10 February 2023, ahead of a contract start date scheduled for some time in May 2023.
