Public law specialist Davies joins 39 Essex Chambers

Public law specialist Sian Davies has joined 39 Essex Chambers from Cornerstone Barristers.

Davies’ practice areas include adult social services, children services, housing, immigration & asylum, EU law and the Court of Protection. She was called to the bar in 1999.

Also joining 39 Essex Chambers is Edmund Townsend. Called to the bar in 2006, Townsend joins the set from Farrar’s Building.

He undertakes work for both claimants and defendants across the spectrum of 39 Essex’s practice areas but specialises in personal injury and insurance.
