Forbes strengthens social housing team with Mansfield hire

Forbes has bolstered its social housing team with the hire of Sarah Mansfield, who was previously partner and head of the housing litigation team at BLM.

Based at the Preston office, Mansfield’s specialist areas include: housing management including all possession, succession, tenancy queries and anti-social behaviour matters; agreement, lease and policy drafting and advice; disrepair claims; voids, maintenance and asset management; and landlord and tenant disputes.

Mansfield was a member of the committee charged with drawing up the pre-action protocol for housing disrepair and acts as a consultant for the Northern Housing Consortium. She is also the author of 'Housing Disrepair Toolkit'.

She has worked as a consultant to the Repairs Benchmarking Group for North & East London Housing Associations and Local Authorities.

Mansfield said: "Forbes has a market-leading reputation in the housing sector and I am delighted to be taking up such a key position."

Stuart Penswick, partner and Head of Housing & Regeneration (Litigation) at Forbes, said: "Sarah's reputation and track record in the social housing field is second to none and we are thrilled that she has agreed to join our successful team."
