Bevan Brittan takes on three more apprentices

Bevan Brittan has taken on three more apprentices, its second intake this financial year.

The apprenticeships are open to candidates who have completed their A levels, and those who are taken on will do a two-year programme at the firm. They spend four days a week working at the firm and one day a week studying for academic qualifications.

This will see them achieve CILEx accredited qualifications, setting them on the path to becoming a Chartered Legal Executive.

All qualification fees and costs are paid for by the firm, in addition to which the apprentices receive a salary.

The three latest apprentices are:

  • Dean Humphries (who will be based in the firm’s Birmingham office);
  • Jonathan Whitaker (Leeds); and
  • Laura Pearce, (Bristol).

Duncan Weir, Managing Partner at Bevan Brittan, said: “We are delighted to welcome a new intake of apprentices to Bevan Brittan. We know that, in order to attract the best talent available, we need to offer multiple pathways into the firm. Our apprenticeship scheme is an important supplement to our graduate intake.

“This is our second intake of apprentices during the financial year, which we are able to make due to our continued expansion and business growth and I'm really pleased that Jonathan has started in our new Leeds office.”
